The river view rooms are stunning and make for a beautiful stay. The breakfast hours are limited, running only until 9 am, which is inconvenient.

The river view from the room was amazing, and the breakfast had good options like pancakes and biscuits. The check-in process was frustrating due to miscommunication about our reservation. Overall, it's a good place but could improve on service responsiveness.

spacious room, spacious view with large comfortable accommodations and breathtaking sights of the Mississippi River from my window that made my stay feel luxurious.

Couldn't stay longer.

The staff at the front desk were unfriendly, and our room was dirty with leftover trash. It felt like nobody cared about cleanliness or customer service, which really put a damper on the trip.

The Natchez Grand Hotel offers a fantastic location with easy walking access to numerous restaurants and sites. Enjoying my morning coffee by the riverfront was a highlight.

The hotel offers stunning views of the Mississippi River, and it is just a few steps from Bluff Park and the river walkway making evening strolls incredibly enjoyable, while also being within a short walk to vibrant downtown Natchez where you can find great restaurants like Cotton Alley Cafe and Fat Mama's Tamales, as well as historic sites such as the Rosalie Mansion and the Natchez Museum of African American History and Culture; the king bed in my room was comfy and the breakfast provided was good, but some areas of the room could have used a little more attention to cleanliness.

The room was spacious, with a great view of the Mississippi River. The bed was comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. the air conditioning struggled to cool the room, reaching only 78 degrees by evening. The scent in the room was overpowering at first, later fading to a musty smell. Noise from the ice machine was distracting, especially late at night. A surprising detail was that there was no soap by the sink, only a dispenser in the tub. Breakfast was decent, but only sausage was offered, disappointing for many travelers.

A fitting option for a brief retreat in Natchez with attractive and competitive value for money. Friendly staff made everything nice.

The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel special. The view from the room is stunning and perfect for romantic moments.

It wasn't inexpensive, but the experience was worth it.

From groovin' to Louis Armstrong & Willie Nelson tunes to exploring historic homes, we were living our best lives. Even scored primo swag at the Greg Iles Book Party! Ultimate vacay vibes for cool cats like us.

Just wish they had a rockin' rooftop party spot for us young peeps to mingle and dance 'til dawn.

The room offered a lovely river view and was comfortable enough for a good night's rest, but cleanliness left much to be desired—the dust and sticky floors were off-putting. Breakfast was hit-or-miss; one morning it was a delightful surprise while the next, a letdown for the price. A prime location near the water is a big plus, though nearby dining options disappoint. Staff interactions varied significantly, with some showing kindness while others seemed dismissive. Ultimately, this stay had its memorable moments but was clouded by cleanliness issues and mixed service experiences.

Disappointing experience, especially for an anniversary. We received an upgrade, but the air conditioning issues made the room uncomfortably hot. Staff responded dismissively, citing outside temperatures instead of addressing our discomfort. We opened doors for airflow, risking illness, until housekeeping provided a fan. While the location is unbeatable and the scenery lovely, the room's condition was lacking. Maintenance disrupted our plans, and noise from the hallways was intrusive. breakfast was commendable, and the bed was comfortable. Check your room carefully before settling in—room 218 is not ideal. The hotel has potential, but necessary updates and better service would elevate the experience significantly. Good memories deserve a better backdrop.

The outside of the building oozes charm and character. The lobby’s fireplace adds a cozy touch that felt inviting, and the decorations brought joy to my weary soul.

The breakfast choices left a lot to be desired.

The hotel's location by the river is fantastic, offering beautiful views and the convenience of being able to walk to many nearby attractions. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a hot breakfast included, providing good value for the stay.

My experience was marred by cleanliness issues in the room, including dirty shower curtains and carpets. The hotel's maintenance seemed lacking, as there were issues with the shower drain and toilet.

Visiting Natchez felt like stepping into a lively music festival with thrilling Louis Armstrong and Willie Nelson tribute acts.

In my wife's opinion, more kid-friendly activities could enhance family stays.

Fat Mama's Tamales serves mouth-watering tamales, creating a fiesta in my mouth! Natchez Brewing Company offered a brew that called my name. The wine list was extensive, making my dining experience top-notch.

Hilarious excuse! .

The hotel staff were friendly and attentive, truly embodying southern hospitality. The location overlooking the river provided a picturesque backdrop for our romantic getaway, with plenty of nearby restaurants and entertainment options within walking distance.

The cleanliness of the hotel left something to be desired, with noticeable wear and tear throughout the facility.

We enjoyed the convenient location near the river and the friendly staff at Grand Hotel On The River. The spacious and clean rooms made our stay comfortable. Although, the breakfast could have been better. I'll recommend this hotel.

The view of the river from my room was absolutely stunning, and it added to the overall experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the breakfast crew. The room itself was spacious, with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. there were a few areas that could use some improvement. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, with limited options and low-quality coffee. It would have been nice to have real dishes instead of Styrofoam. the cleanliness of the pool left something to be desired, as the water was cloudy and uninviting. One of the most concerning aspects was the elevator situation. The elevators made a loud and scary noise every time they stopped, and it felt like they were about to break down. It was quite unsettling for myself and other guests. It would also have been great if the hotel had kept out some cold water and coffee throughout the day, rather than removing it all at 10 am. the Natchez Grand Hotel provided a decent stay with a few hiccups that could be addressed.

I chose to visit the Natchez Grand Hotel On The River to explore the nearby William Johnson House. However, the attentive staff pleasantly surprised me with their exceptional service, catering to the needs of all guests. Additionally, adding a visit to Fat Mama's Tamales for a fantastic dining experience to my list of fun things to do in Natchez, MS was a delightful addition.

Old, uncomfortable bed and linens.

I had a fantastic time at this beautiful hotel right by the river in downtown Natchez. The location was perfect for exploring the city, and the river views from my room were breathtaking. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. The breakfast each morning was delicious and had a wide variety of options. I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities offered, including free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour reception. it was a great experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Natchez.

That the linens and carpet in my room were a bit dated. Some updates in this area would have made the stay even better.

Great location, close to Cotton Alley Restaurant and downtown area. Inviting lobby and bar area, with a small quaint bar to relax. Knowledgeable staff and easy access to river and walking paths.

Felt like visiting family, no reason to complain.
